A Typical Project

The process is started when you complete the “Get Started” form. We review your information and reply with a few extra questions if necessary.

We provide a quote and an estimated time frame (typically around 2-5 weeks) to provide a solution to your needs. If we believe that Aarfie can not provide the best solution then we will recommend an alternative to you.

If you wish to work with Aarfie, we start a casual email conversation to improve our understanding of your needs and preferences. We maintain this back and forth as required throughout the rest of the process.

Based upon our conversation, we draft a front-page design for your new web site. We send you a screen shot and we work together to fine tune the design.

We invoice 50% of the quoted value for your project. Once we have received your payment, we get busy designing and coding to create a complete web site housed at a temporary location on Aarfie’s server.

Once the web site is completed and tested, we get you to review it. We then carry out the final tuning of your new web site, based upon your feedback.

We invoice the remaining 50% of the quoted value for your project. Once we have received your payment, we transfer your site to your new domain on the Aarfie server or to your existing domain elsewhere.

We wrap up the project with a handover email including an introduction and instructions for your new site as well as some tips for maintenance and ongoing search engine optimization (SEO).

After a few weeks we follow-up on your progress and address any concerns, questions or design issues you may have.

Most of our design projects are processed in a similar manner. If you only require a specific service from Aarfie however, such as standard WordPress hosting or WordPress integration, your project would be completed within a shorter time-frame, with less steps than shown in the above example.
